Curly Hair Cut?

I got my hair cut in July. Now it is jusssst above my shoulders and I want to cut it just a TAD bit shorter. I've decided on a salon. I'm having so much trouble finding a hair cut though! It is about a 3a/b [Pretty tight curls, but not super]. I love the ';scene'; look but I don't think I can do that with curly hair. I do not have a straighner and the style would have to be pretty easy to handle. Believe me, I've looked and looked for styles but haven't come up with any! Please, any help is welcome!Curly Hair Cut?
Well maybe you should get layers, dont do just one length, it would look good with layers, maybe if you want even change the color around :) usually if you cut your hair SHORT, then your curls go away, its more like waves, a lot straghtening wouldnt hurt?Curly Hair Cut?

How should I get my curly hair cut?

I am 12 and in 6th grade. Right now i have bangs that are down to my ears and i have layers that go a little farther (2 inches or so) then my shoulders. I have light brown hair and natural blonde and sandy blonde highlights. I am getting it cut next wendsday and i want it to look cute but yet i want it able to be in a pony tail. I play hockey and volleyball and softball. And hopefully your more help then my bf. (haha)

really? i play all three of those sports too :) and i do track. but to answer your question, i think you should get side bangs (but not too short or you cant pin them back, and not to long or they dont stay behind your head band. since your hair is curly get layers so it is not as poofy(if it gets poofy) and keep it at shoulder length or grow it out longer.How should I get my curly hair cut?
Get it layered again. Layers make curls look extra beautiful. and yes you can still put it in a pony tail just ask for long or medium layers instead of short

whoa...you look exactly like the first model. and yeah, i can kind of see from your ponytail that you have the shiny, frizzish curls that look great with that haircut and that i envy! and it is the right length so that if you straighten it, it looks just as good.Curly hair cut?

Transitional curly hair cut?

I'm trying to grow my hair out, but i want a style that will work both now and later... meaning add more layers and it grows i suppose. My hair is naturally curly and does not handle straightening very well. It's also very heavy at the moment and fall forward... thus hanging over my face and making me look dead. I'm not sure I'd do very well with bangs, but i HATE my forehead.


Any ideas?

I got my naturally wavy/curly hair cut to my shoulders and now I can't wear it natural anymore?

My hair is naturally curly/wavy and I got it cut about shoulder length. I used to be able to get up, take a shower, comb some gel through and let it dry naturally. I miss that because you know how when you get it cut, it like puffs up at the bottom? I have to straighten it all the time and I hate it, how can I get my hair to be less puffy on the bottom so I can wear it curly again? You need some long layers. It will take the bulk off the bottom making it much more stylish and managable. It will look great curly or straight and it will also grow out nicely.I got my naturally wavy/curly hair cut to my shoulders and now I can't wear it natural anymore?
Wash it at night and comb it straight while you are letting it dry naturally. In the morning, you might need to use the straighter for just a few places, but combing it and letting it dry straight naturally really helps.

Sometiems its real curly and sometimes it;s just wavy, depends on the way i style it, I style it damp, by using garnier fruitise curl holding gel and i twist my hair around to have loose curls * started this method now * and after i am all done, I put serum * finesse frizz buster * in it to protect it from getting frizzy.





What should I request from the haircut place, how much should I cutt off, should they * dry * cut it.





A previous haircut I got was that they undercut my hair and it was a bob but I grew it out after. I got this haircut like 10 months ago or so

use frizzease straight ahead even though its for straight hair it makes it smooth and keeps curls looking fien and not puffy and lett it dry naturally it works great and just dont straighten hair cause it will frizzz moree goood luck xx
